Camp Manitou 2016
I was trusted with taking care of ten grade nines during their three-day grade nine transitioning program into high school. Myself and two other leaders were assigned a group of ten grade nines in which we tended to throughout the entire trip, even during the night time.
Whitefish Lake 2016
I was in charge of a small group of STEM students along with two other leaders during our annual STEM science trip. I had to watch over them and help them with the conducting of their experiments at Whitefish Lake over a duration of four days.
Teacher's Assitant
During the summer of 2016 and 2017, I was a teacher's
assistant during summer school. I would do jobs such as marking tests, watching over the class when the teacher was not around and grading projects and papers.
Parent/Teacher Night Secretary
Helped with time management of parent/teacher interviews.
Inclusion and Belonging Retreat
I was a leader for this retreat which tended to the members of the TCDSB that were apart of the LGBT+ community. This retreat sought out to create a more inclusive community within our school board and rid of the hate by educating others on what it means to be LGBT+.
Canada's Wonderland Line Cook. 2017
I worked as a line cook for the 2017 Canada's Wonderland season. My contract started in July and I worked with the title of line cook until September of the same season, where I was asked to switch jobs so that a promotion would be possible.
Canada's Wonderland Service Associate. 2017
Switching to an associate meant that I was able to do cash handling and cook, which are skills that a team lead requires, and I was able to experience how to perform both jobs efficiently.
Canada's Wonderland Team Lead-in-Training. 2017 - present
After learning both skills of a required of a line cook and a service associate, I thus began training to become a team lead. I then learned about how the whole unit worked and appropriate actions regarding issues such as deciding which people to send home early, supervising the unit's opening and closing, and calculating till to see the discrepancies.
